Osdorp Posse back at Djax Records

In 1991 Djax Records signed the Osdorp Posse and released their first album ‘Osdorp Stijl’. This album was also the first nederhop album that has been released. In 1995 the group broke through with there fifth album ‘Afslag Osdorp’ of which untill now over 38.000 copies got sold. Till today this album remains the best selling nederhop album ever. In the same year the band recieved the Noorderslag Award. In 1999 after their CD+book release (Oud & Nieuw – 10 jaar Osdorp Posse) the band left Djax Records to start their own label. Now its 2008 and the Osdorp Posse is back at the mothership. They recorded a new album together with the metal band Laberinto from Venezuela. The album is an energetic mixture of metal, latin and hardcore hiphop with a layer of rapping and singing in English, Dutch and Spanish on top of it. An explosive combination with international allure. Many years of clubtour combination of the two bands is now crowned with an experimental album. The title of the album is ‘The World Might Suck’ and the planned release date is March 2008.
